One of the most common fireplace questions we get asked at Stoke is whether you can install a new gas fireplace into an existing cavity. The answer – you sure can.

Escea’s retrofittable DF Series is versatile and flexible. In fact it was designed with renovators in mind. This is the ideal fireplace for those wanting to retain the character and charm of their original fireplace. Because of its smaller dimensions, minimalist look and flexible flue technology, this fire will fit into most existing open fireplaces and replace older inbuilt wood burners pretty easily too. All this without compromising on style or having to rebuild your entire living space.

Because it’s so minimalist and sleek, the DF works just as well in new builds too (see more in the gallery below). Available in two sizes, architects and interior designers love its flexible installation, good looks and powerful heat output (it’s 90% efficient and pumps out up to 7.7kw of heat). The DF gas fireplace also operates via smartphone control, offering customers more control and convenience.

From character home to designer new-builds, check out the gallery below to see just how versatile the Escea DF Series is.
