Once again, the team at Stoke Fireplace Studio in Melbourne was fired up to work with this year’s The Block contestants, helping bring their fireplace visions to life. On-site to ensure seamless installations, the team not only supported the integration of wood fires inside the homes, but also worked with the contestants to showcase the impressive outdoor cooking fireplace which stole the show in the communal area.
Contestants Ricky & Haydn wowed the judges with their clubhouse transformation on Phillip Island, channelling resort-style relaxation with a design that perfectly blends spaces for lounging and outdoor cooking, making it ideal for all seasons.
At the heart of the space is the Escea EK1250 Outdoor Wood Fireplace. Praised by the judges for its innovative design and versatility, it delivers both functionality and flair – whether it’s cooking pizzas or grilling a steak. "I can't see anything here that I can't call perfect," commented Darren Palmer, sharing he now wants one too!
Once the cooking is done, its dual function as an outdoor fire perfectly complements the laid-back island vibe, creating a seamless transition from al fresco dining to cosy evenings by the fire.
