And it’s just got even better – the DF700 features Escea’s new Bead Burner Technology for flames that mimic the nature of a real fireplace burning. While the latest Splitwood fuelbed features larger, lifelike logs layered on a base of smouldering embers.
Its modest shape and size make it Escea’s most versatile retrofit fire – it’s designed to replace an old open wood or gas fire with a beautiful, modern and highly efficient gas fireplace.
Not just highly functional, this fire also looks great with a large window for flame-watching and sleek modern lines, meaning it will fit seamlessly into modern designs as well as old villas and bungalows.

Ease of Install
Escea designed the DF Series with renovators in mind. The DF Series can be installed in a timber-framed cavity, or in a brick chimney using flexi-flue extensions.
Energy Efficiency
The DF700 uses Powered Direct Vent technology, drawing from outside the home into its sealed unit, keeping your home free of moisture and fumes.
