Stoke Melbourne was proud to take part in Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea 2022, doing their bit to raise funds for the Cancer Council.
Friends of Stoke gathered at the studio for a morning of delicious brunch food, cakes, and cocktails; and enjoyed an array of entertainment from tarot reading to a roving magician and Drag Queen performance.
They also hosted guest speakers who shared their personal experiences of the journey through cancer.
“We wanted to have an uplifting event but keep the focus on what we were raising funds for. I believe all of us have been touched by cancer at some point in our lives, and if we (Stoke) can get behind a great cause we should do it” - Director of Stoke Melbourne, Justine Greenway.
A massive $2927.00 was raised, which would go towards funding cancer research, support, and prevention.
